ZIBE Salem by GRT Hotels

Excellent food (both breakfast and lunch). Great service, extremely clean facilities and really good rooms. Only complaint is outside of hotel, location is in high traffic areas. Otherwise no complaints, very good stay!

Right from arrival till we departed, we are totally happy with the treatment we got from all the Zibe staff. In the morning they called and confirmed the time of arrival, it was very easy to reach with the help of google maps. Check-in was done in 5 minutes. they gave a free upgrade to a larger room. The Chef Mr. Udayakumar personally called and informed us on the dinner options. It was really good. Sleep was comfortable. Breakfast was also really good. We could visit the nearby Salem Cathedral and if you are fond of jewelry, you have ample options close by for shopping. Overall, Zibe Salem is really a value for money.

We had a truly delightful stay. The ambience was welcoming, and the room was spacious and comfortable, perfectly suited for our family of three. The food was absolutely delicious, with the South Indian cuisine being a real highlight of our experience. What stood out most was the exceptional hospitality of the staff, who made us feel cared for and at ease throughout our stay.Overall, our time here has been both memorable and heartwarming, and we will cherish this experience for a long time. Easy check-in. Nice room, great bed. Delicious varied breakfast. Rajesh is most helpful and professional hotel staff we have encountered. Recommended.

Before arrival 3 messages saying problems with payment card which we are using easily in other outlets.

More variety for vegetarians for lunch and dinner. Less Spicy food. The Hotel is in a busy traffic area that too behind the Jewelry shop. Difficult to enter and exit. Very difficult for driver to Park and stay overnight.

After long hrs of drive we checked in and had to await for Hot water for almost 2 hours

The room was comfortable. The staff was responsive. The manager listened to what problems we faced after checking-in. He did not give any excuses but paid attention to everything we had to say. He did not charge us for the food we ordered in the room. Though it was not much I liked the fact that the management was listeneing

The bathroom was not cleaned when we checked-in. There was no hot water and it took about 45 minutes for the hotel to find the problem and rectify it. I had stayed in other GRT properties and never faced any such issues.

The air in the room was not fresh: we could not open the windows and it seems that the AC only circulates the air in the room, does not take fresh air from outside.

Stayed in superior bedroom which was spacious. Bed was nice and house keeping did a good job cleaning up on a daily basis. Restaurant has a breakfast buffet with rotating dishes. Staff overall was professional. They have eco friendly toiletries like wooden toothbrushes that give a sense of environmentally conscious.

While generally clean, the sheets and towels should be cleaned in bleach or some stronger detergent to get the stains out. We had an issue with the shower overflowing out of the shower area which took two attempts to correct.

Good room. The first one they showed us smelt quite musty. The second room was fine. Big comfortable bed, hot water and good shower. We were tired and had food delivered to the room. Very tasty curries. Staff was helpful. Breakfast mostly very tasty Indian food, but toast and fruit available.

The bathroom had not been cleaned very well. OK, but not well.
